The All Whites have taken a step toward a football World Cup playoff match next year after beating Tahiti 3-0 at Christchurch's AMI Stadium on Tuesday night.
New Zealand now have a maximum 12 points from four games, and play New Caledonia at home and the Solomon Islands away in March next year.
If they stay top of the group, they will play a team from the North and Central American regionhome and away for a place in the 2014 finals in Brazil.
