Ambulance services say two people were taken to hospital with serious injuries after a jetboating accident in North Canterbury on Saturday afternoon.
St John Ambulance says the accident happened on the Ashley River, near the Okuku inlet.
It says one person was airfifted to hospital and the other went by ambulance.
