A Hamilton man hit and killed by a truck and trailer unit on State Highway 1 near Ngaruawahia has been named.
He was Miroslaf Dlugolecki, a 61-year-old Polish national.
Mr Dlugolecki was struck on the 100km stretch of the highway near the intersection with Kelm Road on Wednesday morning.
