Police in Queensland believe a man who robbed three banks on the Gold Coast has fled to New Zealand.
The banks were robbed over a space of two days in January this year, by two men claiming to have a gun.
Police say a tipoff has led them to believe one of the men is a New Zealander who may have returned to New Zealand after the robberies.
Detective Inspector Scott Knowles said his identity is not known, but they hope that members of the public can identify him through CCTV images.
