Six to stand trial for murder of liquor store owner

Six men are to stand trial for the murder of a South Auckland liquor store owner.

Navtej Singh, 30, was killed in June last year after he was shot during an aggravated robbery in his store.

The men were committed to trial at the High Court on Friday at the conclusion of a two-week depositions hearing in Manukau District Court.

Anitelea Chan Kee, Jason Naseri, Myron Felise, Tino Felise will stand trial for the murder of Navtej Singh and are also charged with aggravated robbery and armed robbery.

Eti Filoa and Walter McCarthy are also accused of murdering Mr Singh.

Mefiposeta Chan Kee is charged with disposing of evidence and has been committed to trial.
