The body of a Feilding man who went missing while swimming at Himatangi Beach near Foxton has been located.
Palmerston North police found the body of Jarrett Simeon early on Sunday morning about 100 metres up from the Himatangi Surf Life Saving Club.
The 27-year-old had been swimming with his partner and friends on Saturday afternoon when he got out of his depth and drifted from the group.
His death has been referred to the coroner.
