Police in Wellington have named the cyclist who died when he was struck by a car on Saturday morning.
He was Douglas Henry Mabey, of Waikanae.
The 56-year-old was hit shortly after 9am on Ohariu Valley Road, between Johnsonville and Rifle Range roads.
Police say they have yet to determine the cause of the crash and investigations are continuing.
