Organisers say the Wings Over Wairapa air show has had its biggest crowd ever this year.
Trust chairman Bob Francis says at least 30,000 people watched the two-day show which ended on Sunday.
The trust is crediting a large part of the show's success to the appearance of a WWII Mosquito fighter-bomber, the last of its kind still flying.
The show also featured a wide range of other aircraft, from replica first world war biplanes to modern New Zealand Air Force and Navy aircraft, and an aerobatic display.
