Former All Black gets community service over assault

A former All Black has been sentenced to community service for assaulting a man in Te Aroha last year.

Keith Robinson earlier pleaded guilty to one charge of intent to injure in relation to an attack on a man outside a hotel in the town in December.

He was sentenced in the Rotorua District Court today to 300 hours' community service and nine months' supervision.

Robinson was also ordered to attend an anger management course and pay $1000 in reparation.
