The search for a man missing in Taupo has been suspended.
Leighton Grant from Auckland was staying with family in Taupo and was last seen on 25 January.
The 35-year-old's car was found on Monday at Hallets Bay, just south of Hatepe.
On Wednesday, police searched Motutaiko Island in Lake Taupo after a wetsuit belonging to Mr Grant was found there.
Police say they are confident that had Mr Grant been injured or wanted to be found, they would have located him.
They say they have exhausted all search options.
