The Fire Service says a child and an adult have been injured in a gas oven explosion in West Auckland.
Emergency services were called to the Massey house about 11.05am on Wednesday.
The ambulance service says the two patients have been taken to Waitakere Hospital and have moderate burns.
They say they are both in a stable condition and were expected to leave hospital later in the day.
The Fire Service says the energy safety service is investigating the cause of the explosion.
