A man attempted to out-run police in Hamilton on Wednesday morning by fleeing across rooftops in the central city.
Police had an arrest warrant over the discovery of a methamphetamine laboratory at Waitetuna in July last year.
Senior Sergeant Wayne Petherick said the man jumped out a third floor window of a hotel to run across adjoining roofs, but police were able to stop him when a driveway between buildings was too big a gap to get over.
The man will appear in Hamilton District Court later in the day on drugs charges.
