Coronet lift fall leads to court charges

The owners of Queenstown's Coronet Peak Skifield are facing health and safety charges after two people fell from a chair lift and suffered serious injuries.

NZ Ski has been charged with failing to ensure the couple's safety and failing to ensure no hazards arose.

The incident happened in August last year.

The case will be heard in the Queenstown District Court in April.
