Falling tree kills Bay of Plenty forestry worker

A forestry worker has died after being hit on the head by a falling tree near Rotorua.

Police are investigating the death, which occurred on Tuesday afternoon.

A Rotorua police spokesperson says further details will be released on Tuesday evening.
