A man is in custody following the sexual assault of two teenagers at a home in Picton.
The 25-year-old is alleged to have driven to an address at about 3:45am last Sunday and entered a bedroom the two 16-year-olds were sharing.
The police say the girls were attacked before their screams alerted their caregivers.
A man has appeared in the Blenheim District Court charged with burglary, performing an indecent act on a girl aged between 12 and 16, driving while disqualified and driving with excess breath alcohol.
He has been remanded in custody to reappear on 8 April.
