Bigger class sizes in Auckland not solution - Parata

Education Minister Hekia Parata says increasing class sizes will not be the soloution for dealing with the growing number of school students in Auckland.

The Ministry of Education has been told it will need to find space for 150,000 more students by 2040.

Ms Parata says class sizes and re-zoning probably will not be required, and the architecture of school buildings are more likely to be the focus.
