Woman conducting survey attacked in street

A woman carrying out survey work was attacked in a Hamilton street on Tuesday morning.

Police said she was returning to her vehicle in Tennyson Street in the suburb of Enderley about 9.30am when she was hit from behind.

She had her coat pulled over her head and was knocked to the ground.

The offender took the woman's phone and a small amount of cash before running off.
