Tuesday's headlines: Canterbury people fed up with earthquake rubberneckers; post-storm traffic congestion in Wellington could last all week; more fog predicted in Waikato.

NZ Herald

The New Zealand Herald reports that parking wardens are being armed with cameras to try and curb and capture aggressive behaviour. The paper says the $1500 cameras will be trialled by wardens at Hamilton City Council.

Waikato Times

The Waikato Times pictures three men on trial for the murder of a Tauranga businessman. The paper says the murder was orchestrated by a prison inmate with a cellphone in an attempt to settle a cash debt.

Travellers could face further disruption at Hamilton airport on Tuesday as more fog is predicted for the region.

Dominion Post

The Dominion Post is warning that traffic congestion in Wellington could last all week. With Hutt Valley and Wairarapa trains cancelled and buses replacing services from Petone, peakhour commuters face long delays.

The Transport Agency says people should try and make the trip to work earlier, or later if they can, to avoid the peak.

The Press

The Press reports that Cantabrians are being urged to embrace earthquake tourism even though many are fed up with rubberneckers.

A study by the University of Otago has revealed that while residents don't mind tours focussed on the CBD, they are fed up with people visiting residential areas to view damaged houses.

The Otago Daily Times has a picture of shepherds and volunteers wading through waist-deep snow near Kyeburn on Monday to help get stock to safety.
