NZers urged to be good sports

An Auckland businessman is launching a crusade to see New Zealanders brush up on their manners in preparation for hosting the 2011 Rugby World Cup.

Graeme Wall says he'd like to see all fans stand during the national anthem and take off their hats, caps and beanies.

He also wants them to cut down on booing and jeering, and observe silence while the opposing team is kicking.

Mr Wall hopes to launch a creative campaign that will result in a more mild-mannered approach to the tournament, in the name of good sportsmanship.
