Police investigating the killing of a man outside his Hamilton home have arrested three people.
The 28-year-old victim died from head injuries after being beaten up in the driveway of his Chartwell home during a drinking session in the garage early on Thursday morning.
Police say he was hit with a weapon or weapons and was then repeatedly kicked after falling to the ground.
He died while paramedics were trying to save him.
Police have charged one man with assaulting the victim, another with possession of an offensive weapon and a third with breaching bail. They say further charges are likely.
