A man involved in a five-hour siege at a bank in Auckland appeared in court again on Wednesday.
The man, who uses a wheelchair, is charged with unlawfully possessing an air pistol, presenting a gun at another person and detaining a person.
He was remanded in custody for an independent assessment of doctor's reports to be completed.
He will next appear in Auckland District Court in two weeks.
