Two men have been stabbed in Auckland in separate incidents.
Ambulance staff say a man in his 40s was stabbed in the chest outside a bar on Great North Road about 1.30am on Sunday.
Auckland St John spokesperson Norm Ngatai says the man was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Mr Ngatai also says a man in his mid-20s was stabbed on Richardson Rd in Mt Roskill, about 2.30am.
Both are in a stable condition.
