Charge to follow cyclist's death

6:26 pm on 10 July 2013

The driver of a car that ploughed into a group of cyclists near Hamilton last week, killing one of them, is to be charged.

Craig Goulsbro, 50, died after being taken off life support two days after the crash.

A 22-year-old Hamilton man will be charged with aggravated careless use of a motor vehicle causing death. Police say other charges can't be ruled out.

They say the crash occurred when a car that was overtaking pulled back into a group of 14 cyclists. Two other cyclists were seriously injured.
