Police say a man has been found dead on a farm near Warkworth after what appears to be a quad bike crash.
A 72-year-old man failed to return from a quad bike ride on a 300 acre farm at Pohuehue, north of Auckland, on Thursday night.
Family and neighbours searched for him for three hours before calling the police.
Search and rescue staff and the police helicopter were dispatched and the man's body was found in a gully near the quad bike soon after.
