A man has been arrested and charged with attempted murder following a stabbing in South Auckland on Friday.
Police said the suspect will appear in Papakura District Court on Tuesday in relation to the incident in Papakura.
A knife found near the scene is believed to have been used in the attack, in which a man was stabbed repeatedly. He remains in a critical but stable condition in hospital.
