Phoenix football coach Ricki Herbert is calling for officials to look at postponing matches when there's too much rain, after a soggy 3-3 draw with Gold Coast United in Wellington on Friday night.
The referee considered calling the A-League game off at half-time, when the Phoenix led 2-1.
But Herbert says the match should not have even started in the atrocious conditions.
