Victory parade for Chiefs on Tuesday

9:41 am on 5 August 2013

The Chiefs will celebrate their second consecutive Super Rugby title with a victory parade through Hamilton on Tuesday.

The Chiefs rallied in the late stages of Saturday night's final against the Brumbies at Waikato stadium to win 27-22.

Coach Dave Rennie told Morning Report the team had a quiet celebration after the game, but the parade is a chance to engage with the community and for fans to get up close to the trophy.

The parade will begin at midday, starting at Knox Street before proceeding down Victoria Street and finishing at Garden Place.
