Searchers have found the body of a Wanaka fisherman missing since Sunday night.
Kenneth George Copland was reported missing by family after he went fly fishing alone at the mouth of the Makarora River earlier in the day.
Mr Copland, a local politician, was found in Lake Wanaka about 1km north of Boundary Creek.
Police have referred the matter to the coroner.
