Police in Christchurch are investigating the discovery of a body found partially submerged in the Heathcote River.
Police in Christchurch are investigating the discovery of a body found partially submerged in the Heathcote River.
The body was found just after 9am on Friday by a woman who lives a few hundred metres away.
The woman's father said the person appeared to have been dead for some time.
Officers are questioning residents in the area and say it is too early to say if the death is suspicious.
