The Christchurch City Council will meet on Tuesday to hear options for the restoration of the Town Hall.

The council decided late last year it wants to fully repair the earthquake-damaged facility, and the Government has recently agreed that it can.

It has budgeted $158 million for its restoration and a new performing arts centre beside the Isaac Theatre Royal.

Several repair options will be put to councillors and they will be take on a tour of the Town Hall next week.
