A woman charged with murder and attempted murder in Nelson has been further remanded to hospital custody, pending a second psychiatric evaluation.
The charges are in relation to the death of a man who was stabbed at a house in St Anne Place in the Victory part of the city on 3 March. A woman was also stabbed in the incident.
At Nelson District Court on Monday, Judge Richard Russell remanded the accused, 59, into the custody of the mental health unit at Nelson hospital until 30 August.
