Dog teams and a helicopter are searching the Heaphy track after reported sightings of a man who went missing there two weeks ago.
Andrew Ross White, 55, from Karamea went into the track from the Takaka end on 6 August. Police say he was not well equipped.
Three search teams and a helicopter began searching the Karamea end of the track on Wednesday morning after members of the public reported seeing Mr White.
