A secondary school student has admitted sexually abusing a child with her former boyfriend, filming the incident and publishing the images on the internet.
At the High Court in Auckland on Friday, she pleaded guilty to nine charges, including sexual conduct with a child under 12, making intimate visual recordings and distributing the images.
Her former boyfriend has also pleaded guilty for his part in the abuse and the Crown will ask for a sentence of preventive detention.
That means he will not be released from prison until he is deemed safe to be in the community.
Both have name suppression and will be sentenced on 24 September.
