Fog at Auckland airport has now cleared but nearly 60 domestic flights have been delayed or cancelled.
An airport spokersperson says fog restrictions were lifted just before 10am on Monday.
The restrictions had affected regional flights in and out of the city but not international flights or flights between the main centres.
A total of 59 flights were affected.
The airport is now working to clear the backlog of passengers.
