Police in Auckland say a man was caught driving at twice the alcohol limit in a school zone just as students were finishing class on Friday.
He was pulled over and breath tested at a checkpoint near a primary school on Eban Avenue in Hillcrest at about 3pm.
Police said the man's licence was suspended for 28 days and charges will be laid depending on the result of a blood test.
