A man appeared in Auckland District Court on Saturday charged with murdering a homeless man in a central city park.
Steven Harris, 54, died in hospital from stab wounds after an attack in Myer's Park at about 11.30pm on Wednesday.
A man who handed himself in to police on Friday, was granted interim name suppression and remanded in custody until Wednesday, when he will appear before the High Court in Auckland.
