House prices keep on going up. The Real Estate Institute says median house prices nationwide rose 5.46% in the past year.
The biggest rises were in Hawke's Bay and Nelson/Marlborough, but Auckland also rose by 11.4%.
Other methodology shows an even bigger jump in prices.
The Stratified Housing Price Index, which was developed in conjunction with the Reserve Bank, irons out distinctions based on fashionable suburbs and unusual sales.
It shows median prices rose nationally 9.5% in the last year and 17.9% in Auckland.
