The first of the group arrested was Steven Boskell, 18, of Palmerston who appeared in court on Friday and was remanded in custody.
On Monday, an Oamaru farmhand, 22, whose name is temporarily suppressed, appeared in the Dunedin District Court and was jointly charged with the murder.
He was arrested on Saturday as part of an Armed Offenders Squad operation.
