The forecast is for improving conditions on San Francisco Bay after Wednesday morning's two America's Cup races were postponed.
Racing on Wednesday was postponed due to high winds on San Francisco Bay.
The start of the race was scheduled for 8.15am (New Zealand time), but was pushed back several times.
Racing will now resume on Thursday (NZT).
Emirates Team New Zealand is two wins away from lifting the cup for the current holder, Oracle Team USA.
But Oracle Team USA has been rapidly improving. While the challengers lead 7-1, the defenders have beaten them in three of the past four races.
The forecast for San Francisco Bay is for winds of 20 - 25 knots with stronger gusts. The wind limit for racing is 23 knots.
There has been racing on previous days when the general forecast suggested it would be unlikely.
