An 18-year-old man has been arrested in connection with an aggravated robbery in the small eastern Waikato settlement of Kerepehi.
Police say two men entered a dairy armed with a shotgun just after 7am on Friday and took cash, tobacco and cigarettes.
They say the green car the pair fled in matched the description of a vehicle known to police. The armed offenders squad was called out and a Paeroa property was cordoned off a short time later.
People at the address are being questioned.
Police say local officers' knowledge and timely and accurate information through the 111 system helped to identify possible suspects speedily.
