Fire has damaged an unoccupied house in Christchurch in the third such blaze in little over a day.
Three fire engines attended the blaze at Wattle Drive in New Brighton on Sunday evening.
Firefighters had been called to a blaze at a vacant property at Stour Drive, also in New Brighton, at 7am on Sunday and quickly contained the fire.
In the central city, fire broke out in an empty two-storey house in Cashel Street about 9pm on Saturday.
The Fire Service said all the houses were unoccupied because of earthquake damage.
