The new Tauranga City Council has been sworn in at a ceremony on Wednesday.
Mayor Stuart Crosby was sworn in for a fourth term, as well as seven new councillors.
One of the new faces, Kelvin Clout, was also appointed deputy mayor - a decision unopposed when put to the vote.
The first council meeting will take place on 19 November.
