A man has been crushed to death at a vehicle testing station in Palmerston North.
Police say a car fell off a brace on to him at the Vehicle Inspection New Zealand site on Taonui Street about about 4.30pm on Thursday.
St John ambulance believes the man was in his 50s.
The Vehicle Inspection New Zealand website says its Palmerston North branch is closed until further notice.
