Police say they don't believe the death of a man whose body was found in the Hutt River at Petone is suspicious.
Brett Ramon Waiwai, 30, who lived in the nearby suburb of Moera, was found in the river near the Waione Street bridge by a member of the public on Wednesday.
Police say they have been able to establish Mr Waiwai's final movements, but are still appealing for anyone who saw a Maori man wearing a black T-shirt and denim shorts on Tuesday night to contact them.
