A man has been stabbed in the Wellington suburb of Karori and another man found hiding in a nearby garage has been arrested.
Senior Sergeant Marc Clausen said police were called to Victory Avenue about 11.15am on Saturday.
Mr Clausen said there was a fight between two men outside a home and a 30-year-old man received a minor stab wound. A second man fled the scene and was found hiding by police 20 minutes later and arrested.
Police are speaking to witnesses and say the circumstances surrounding the stabbing are unclear.
