Police in Kaikohe have arrested three people in relation to the armed robbery of a security van outside a supermarket in September.
They say the arrested men have gang connections and will appear in Kaikohe District Court on Wednesday.
They face charges including armed robbery, theft of a motor vehicle, arson and unlawful possession of firearms.
