Police have still not located a 55-year-old autistic man missing since last weekend.
Several sightings have been followed up around the Wellington region, but Lesley Kriebel has still not been located.
Mr Kriebel was last seen at his Crawford Grove house in the suburb of Naenae at about 10.40am on Sunday.
He then left without any ID, food, water or money and police believe he could be anywhere in the wider Wellington area.
They say Mr Kriebel is prone to hiding when frightened, and they hold grave fears for his safety.
Police are appealing to the public for help.
