A man who strangled an Upper Hutt woman in August last year has pleaded guilty to her murder.
Kharn Tamaka, 29, entered the plea during an appearance in the High Court in Wellington on Tuesday afternoon.
The body of Mary Donnelly was found in her flat in late August.
Tamaka was remanded in custody and will be sentenced next year.
