Attempts to deport Urs Signer, one of four people convicted over police raids in Te Urewera National Park in 2007, have been suspended.
The conditions of the suspension say Signer must not be convicted of any further charges in the next five years. If he is, he may be deported.
Signer was sentenced to home detention on a firearms charge.
