A commercial cannabis operation has been uncovered in Westport.
Police executed a search warrant at a house in the town on Tuesday and discovered $44,000 worth of dried cannabis, along with a hydroponic room full of seedlings and mature plants. About $14,000 in cash was confiscated.
Two people were arrested and will appear in Westport District Court early next year.
Sergeant Steve Baddock said the discovery came as a result as a tip-off from the public.
